I used to have a friend since high school that I was really close to. Well, she always seemed to try to live the higher class life because that's how her mom is. I live with what I have. My husband and I have a mobile home, and have 2 kids, 2 dogs. Although she never said it to me outright (almost a few times, though) she always seemed like she was better because she has a condo (which to me is a very expensive apartment- my niece, who is 11, said so too), and would get mad when I would ask her not to call it a house. Yet, one of her husband's friends lives 2 places away (and it married to an old classmate of mine from elementary school). She was fine with them moving out here.
Do people still think it's low-class, or is it accepted now?
