My boyfriend is a senior, I'm a sophomore. I'm REALLY good at school though, so i help him with a lot of his classes.
He is really bad at math. As a child, he was "home-schooled" until the 8th grade, but really they never learned anything, so he never really learned basic math.
It's not that he's not smart, he takes AP literature classes and does really well at them, but he can't even seem to comprehend classes like chemistry or geometry.

So anyway, he's failing geometry. with like a 64. He honestly doesn't get it.
He was studying for a recovery test on, like, the basics of geometry, and he didn't understand things like "coplanar" or the difference between a line and a line segment.
So i tried to teach him and he went and took the test, but he still got like a 55 on it.
And now he's feeling really bad about it and wants to give up.

How can he get better at this, and how can I help him?

My 16 year old daughter is pregnant. FOB is also 16. Neither have a job and both live at home. Being the parent of a teen girl is bad enough, but a pregnant teen is impossible. My daughter has said more than once that she is leaving after she has her baby. Apparently the CPS worker that she talked to a few months back didn't leave too much of an impression. The worker told my daughter that just because she has a baby does not make her an adult under the law.
The boyfriend was on probabtion when he moved here to TX a few years back to live with his grandparents. I know what HE says it was for, but I don't quite trust him. He got a job and worked for about 2 weeks then got fired. He told my daughter he was fired because he was too slow. I asked him point blank about it later and he said he was fired because he didn't get along with the manager.
My daughter being so young is quick to believe (and side with) her boyfriend. All of a sudden, I am the stupidest person she knows. She has become rude and disrespectful. When I say something to her about her tone of voice and attitude, she responds by becoming beligerant and calling me just about every name under the sun.
She has a cell phone which boyfriend pays for. She thinks that gives her the right to talk to him all night long.
What are my rights under the law? I have 3 other children at home besides my daughter. Her own father is currently incarcerated, but hasn't had too much to do with her most of her life anyway. My parents can't take her and I doubt they would at this point even if they could since she is so rude and disrepectful.
She has become a stranger to me where we used to be pretty close.
I love my daughter dearly, but I feel like a fish out of water right now.
Even to get a counsler through our church is way more than my husband and I can afford. Where do I turn? It seems as though she gets worse when the boyfriend is allowed to come over to visit her or when we allow her to go visit him.
Right now, it looks like my husband and I will have to support my daughter and her baby while she and her boyfriend continue to be typical teens. He is "Home Schooled". He's at home all day long while his grandparents are at work, then he runs the neighborhood all evening long. Not sure where the school part is supposed to come in.

So hear is the basic outline of my life.
Ever since a little girl I have had shitty friends what could take advantage of me, make snide comments towards me etc.. A couple of years ago I moved to this crappy small village in Scotland. There where only about 15 other people like me, I don't usually get on with people that much but there was a group of 3 people that I got along with. When I was in 2nd year of high school 2 of them which where sisters moved up south. I barely got to see them. The other person lets call her Amanda (that's not her name) had a fall out with me, she made me feel like I was worthless and made it quite clear that she would rather have me move up south than her other friends. After that I tried to make other friends. I met a group of older boys and they seemed nice, but then one day Amanda got on the bus and apologized. I felt sorry for her because she had no friends so I introduced her to my friends. After a while I started to go out with one of them, lets call him Dave
life was good for a while and we all got along. Then one day at the weekend I was going to go and see my favorite band in concert which I wanted to see since like FOREVER!!! I was going to go with "Dave" and his friends, Amanda wasn't going because she didn't have enough money and she barely liked the band anyway. We where going to Dave's house first and then to the train station. "Amanda" would go with us to the train-station to see us off. On the way other I heard her talking to one of Dave's friends, saying horrible shit about me, I was so upset that somebody who I trusted was so utterly and completely HORRIBLE to me that I went home crying (I am a very sensitive person and get easily upset by things like this) I made up that I felt ill to Dave and the other people there. After that, rumors spread (all by amanda). Dave believed them, and soon every single on of my friends that I tried so hard to make hated me, Amanda even gave one of dave's friends my myspace password and he re-placed my profile picture with porn. The next day everyone laughed at me at school. Now Dave has moved on he has a new girlfriend who lives in Germany and is 2 years older than him met her online and has never met her. Amanda has a boyfriend. I feel as though everyone has moved on but me. Dave's friend sent me threatening messages through myspace and other social networks. Even though he has never spoken to me and doesn't barely know who I am, but just follows Dave's and Amanda's orders. Amanda even sent me a message through myspace telling me that she was never my friend and hated me since the day we met and only made up to me to get close to Dave and his friends. She also said that I would be better of dead and should commit suicide. School got to much, I had panic attacks and would burst into tears all the time, embarrassing myself and everyone around me. I was know the laughing stock of the whole school. So I "Home Schooled" for a while. But I never really did much work. In total I have probably missed a term of work. I am moving to a new town in about a month. But I feel as though people will just fuck me over again. I feel like people see me as a gullible chump they can just take advantage of. I know have NO friends. The people who moved up south. I am lucky to talked to them once every couple of months. I feel miserable ALL day. I feel extremely paranoid and even when I am in a room alone I feel as if people are looking though the walls laughing and judging me. I feel worthless all the time and angry at myself for being so worthless and for not handling the situation better. How can I stop this downward spiral, raise my self esteem etc..

As a fifteen year old, I have considered running away ever since I turned fourteen.

This comes from having a father that was raised by devout Mormons, and being rather old-fashioned, extremely homophobic (not that I am gay, but have some gay friends), and believe that the western way is the way to go. This means that my family is heavily influenced by rodeo; my dad's profession is taking cows to rodeos, and has a giant ranch with many cattle.

My mom was raised in Mexico by fairly abusive parents; this rubbed off on her. Most of the time when she gets frustrated, she takes it out violently. She attempted suicide when I was nine, and I didn't realize it until I was about twelve or thirteen. Of all my family, she is the one that gets the most upset and is probably the most mentally ill, not exaggerating. She can be a lot easier to be close to, but acts very bipolar-ish.

Recently, I gotten in a LOT of trouble for sneaking to concert, which wasn't smart on my behalf. I lied to my parents, claiming I was doing service at the local Wal-mart, then headed to the movies. Of course, I didn't answer the phone when they called so they called my friends' parents, and found out the truth. They searched my phone, and read some texts that I had used some strong language (they were most upset about the F bomb) to a particular friend, and texting a friend they think is bisexual (I told them as a joke).

Of course I should be punished for being disobedient, lying and using inappropriate lying, but I personally believe my parents went a little extreme. My mom wanted to send me to live in Mexico with her poor brother and his family. My dad assumes all power, and generally doesn't look for my mother for input, and decided my punishment. I was taken out of school a month early, am grounded all summer, and will most likely be "home-schooled". This means going to a school for a few minutes every so often and getting some homework. I will work with my dad every day on his ranch.

I think the "home-school" is a step too far, if not being taken out of school early and having fourteen hours of manual labor every day for six days a week is not. How can I go to college if I am not getting a decent education?

My "running-away-from-home" desire got especially strong when I got punished, but I do not want to do anything drastic if I don't have to. Is it enough to get emancipation if I get absolutely great grades, can work hard, have fairly abusive parents and am not getting a good education? I have all the documents for my liberation prepared, but I still have to wait five months, not to mention get a job. Please help me with my situation; my life will be in your debt.

okay. I'm having an absolutely huge birthday party and end of the school year bash. i need it to be AMAZING! like 80 kids are invited coed of corse, but im thinking that like 60ish will be able to come! I have access to a huge private pool, its in public though but I'm making it private for this event and am having tons of balloons and water balloons all in the pool. its at a public pool which my dad owns so there isn't much field area, so i cant do a bonfire sadly :(

ACTiViTiES!
i am having twister in the pool (don't ask) Chicken fights, stuff like that, but i don't know what else to do! i need more activities and stuff. a volley ball net would not work because the pool has a small shallow end and then the deep end is like 10 feet.

TiME!
it's starting at 5 and ending at 9 because it's like a 20 minute drive home and im have my girlsss (group) sleepover after

MUSiC!
I am getting a Dj, so I'm really excited about that :) if you have any other suggestions, feel free to, well, SUGEST!

!FOOD and DRiNKS!
pizza, pickies, also like taquitos, i wanna have a snow cone machine (just a bucket of crushed up ice and the flavorings next to it) I also need some cool drink recipes! I'm doing smoothies and soda and stuff. no mocktails :( too much money

there's so many choices that i need help with! i need help on the food, drinks, activities, entertainment, and something that will make my party over the top!

I cant go out spending crazy money though, my dad knows the dj and the band so he can get them for cheap and there is already a lifeguard but other than that, i dont have to much to spend.

THANK YOU SO MUCHH! PLEASE PLEASEEE ANSWER THIS QUESTIONN!

p.s. IT WILL BE ON THE 28, DON'T EVEN SUGEST "HAVE IT ON THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL" no!
